Tax Administration of FBiH Sealed Maxi Sport Casino in Mostar
Today, 4 may 2012, as part of the continued control of lawful organization of games of chance by means of poker machines, slot machines and other games of chance machines, the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH conducted an audit of the taxpayer Maxi Sport in Mostar, an operating unit of the legal person Super Tech d.o.o Mostar.
The said facility is one of the best equipped casinos in the region.
In the course of audit it was found that the legal person Maxi Sport did not have a permission to operate issued by the Federal Ministry of Finance, which provided grounds for sealing the facility and issuing a decision on temporary ban on activities.

Second Working Meeting of Regional Tax Administrations Held in Budva
Director of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH Midhat Arifovic took part in a two-day regional meeting of tax administrations which was held on 23 and 24 April in Budva. Apart from the organizer and host, the Tax Administration of Montenegro, the meeting was attended by representatives of Tax Administrations of Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Republic of Srpska and the Indirect Taxation Authority.

KM 30,479 Worth of Assets Sold in Goražde
For the purpose of collecting outstanding public revenues, the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH – Cantonal Tax Office Goražde today sold by public auction the assets of the taxpayer Zadrugar Farming Cooperative Ilovača Goražde.
A plot of land of 4,510 m2 owned by the taxpayer debtor Zadrugar was sold at the price of KM 30,479. The buyer is Goražde Municipality.

Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH Began Control of Contributions
The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH commenced the control of the calculation and payment of taxes and contributions for pension and disability insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance in the Federation of BiH.
This activity will be carried out in the next three months and it will include office and field controls targeting calculation and payment of taxes and contributions on and from the salaries. Should other irregularities and illegal actions be detected, the taxpayers will be subject to comprehensive audit.

Bill on Amendments to the Law on the Unified System of Registration, Control and Collection of Contributions Drafted
The Government of the Federation of FBiH today has drafted and by summary procedure forwarded to the Parliament a Bill on Amendments to the Law on the Unified System of Registration, Control and Collection of Contributions, as it does not constitute a comprehensive and complex legislative act.
It was proposed to rescind the obligation to file the “Annual Declaration of Contributions Data” , which will result in the lowering of costs for employers and the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH.

Održan prvi zajednički sastanak direktora UIO BIH i direktora poreznih uprava entiteta i Brčko distrikta
Na inicijativu Uprave za indirektno – neizravno oporezivanje BiH danas je (o3.04.2012. godine) u Banja Luci održan prvi zajednički sastanak direktora UIO BiH, Porezne uprave Republike Srpske, Porezne uprave Federacije BiH i Porezne uprave Brčko distrikta na kojem je dogovorena priprema Memoranduma o saradnji između poreznih uprava entiteta i Brčko distrikta. Memorandum o saradnji podrazumijevat će razmjenu podataka o poreznim obveznicima kao i sve vidove budućih zajedničkih akcija i zajedničke saradnje.

Meeting Held With Representatives of Premier League Sport Clubs
A meeting between the Director of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH and Assistants to the Director and representatives of the BiH Football Association and representatives of the sport clubs of the Premier League from the Federation of BiH was held today (28 March 2012) on the premises of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH. The issue of liabilities incurred by means of unsettled public revenues was discussed at the meeting.

Tax Administration of FBiH Will Send Official Reports to Relevant Prosecutor's Offices
As part of the activities to fight illegal organization of the games of chance by means of poker/slot machines, the Tax Administration of FBiH will submit official reports to relevant Prosecutor's Offices against all persons on whose premises these machines were found, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of Unauthorized Performance of Certain Activity in violation of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of FBiH.

Eleven Facilities Temporarily Closed Down and 110 Illegal Machines Found in Coordinated Activity of Tax Administration of FBiH, Prosecutor’s Office of FBiH and Federal Police Administration
Based on intelligence and investigation reports, in coordination with the Prosecutor's Office of the Federation of BiH, relevant Cantonal Prosecutor's Offices, Federal Police Administration and cantonal-level Ministries of the Interior, yesterday (14 March 2012), in the afternoon hours, the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH performed 34 inspections of facilities in which games of chance were illegally organized by means of video poker machines, slot machines and other devices used in the games of chance industry.

Tax Administration of FBiH, Prosecutor’s Office of FBiH and Federal Police Administration Conducting Joint Control of Illegal Organization of Games of Chance
Based on intelligence and investigative information and in coordination with the Prosecutor’s Office of the Federation of BiH, the Federal police Administration and the Cantonal Ministries of the Interior, today (14 March 2012), in the afternoon hours, the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina carried out 31 inspections of establishments illegally organizing games of chance by means of slot machines, poker machines and other games of chance devices.
The joint activity under the code name Frost was carried out in the territory of the federation of BiH.

Fuad, Denis and Almir Hadžimustafić Convicted of Tax Evasion in Tuzla
The Municipal Court in Tuzla has sentenced Fuad Hadžimustafić and Denis Hadžimustafić to three years of imprisonment and a fine amounting to KM 10,000.00, and Almir Hadžimustafić to a term of imprisonment of 18 months and a fine in the amount of KM 5,000.00 KM for the criminal offense of Tax Evasion.
